This simple SATB chorale sets texts traditional to Sufi practice: Ya Salaam, the holy name of Divine Peace, and Allaho Akbar, the affirmation that God is Greater still than any conflict or confusion. Based on a contemporary Sufi chant written by Jon Stevens, Almighty Peace expresses an ancient prayer for peace in lush contemporary musical language.
